Changes...
One of the many interesting things about taking pictures in the same area over a long period of time is to see the changes in things.
This dock was falling into the water. It made for interesting photography. Then they fixed the dock and now it is out of the water... which I'm sure makes better fishing.
A wind came from the west and blew the tree almost down. The tree was held up for a few days by the power line on the other side of the road. But, as you can imagine, the tree had to go... and now is gone.
But the sun still goes down on Shipshewana Lake. Some nights it is really beautiful and some nights not so much. That doesn't ever change.
On the night this image was captured the water was like a mirror, the clouds let the sun peak through on the horizon, the dock seemingly floated in the water and the tree stood to gather in the last light.
We will see what tomorrow brings.
