This is our rig as of January 2024. You can see Pam in the passenger side seat of the truck. The Starlink receiver is on a pole in the front of the Airstream so it is safer from traffic accidents compared to sitting on the ground and we will be more likely to get over trees.
It seems like there is always something broken or in the process of breaking. Today it was a shower door. And we have our eyes on a water valve that may be leaking. It's always something.
We've been in Alabama for about 10 days and we have a few to go, then we head to the Panhandle of Florida.
Early next week it is supposed to be well below freezing. We went to Walmart where a few days ago they had an "end cap" of RV antifreeze. Today there was none. So we will need to drain all our water and put heat on the pipes when it gets in the teens, which is what they are calling for.
